John is a remarkable one-man band, with some pretty impressive machinery! He has cleared The Green Man site at amazing speed, while treating it with great care and sensitivity.
John wastes nothing. Wood chippings are used for flower beds and weed suppression, smaller timber heats his home, and larger pieces are transformed into barns, sheds, chalets, tree houses, tables and even musical wooden boxes!
A huge thank you to John for his hard work and for helping bring the site back so it is ready for us to start the next phase.

We’re really excited to announce that the lovely people at HOUSE OF NEON are creating some fantastic T-shirts to help promote The Green Man!
We’ll be proudly wearing the prototypes at our community meeting on 9th October, so you’ll get a first look at them.
